Update September the 18th, 2006 Welcome to the Tracking Derby. Tracking Derby BETA Web Services allows free access to all functions of Tracking Derby for a limited period of time. The free access is subject to change at any time, and will be notified by updating this posting. The use of Tracking Derby Web sercices as a pedagogic program, promotional tool, Skydiving Event or for any king of business purpose is forbiden without a writen agrement from Tracking Derby crew. To use Tracking Derby Web Services you need to create a personal account. Please review the following terms and conditions before you create your account. By creating an account, you agreeing to the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not create an account. Terms of useThe Tracking Derby is an UNOFFICIAL Skydiving competition of distance flown in freefall for Suit and Wingsuits. The calculation is stopped by any of the following: Maximum Vertical Distance, Race End Time Window, Chute Opening, Safety Altitude Threshold. The Canopy Ride section is designed for parachute piloting analysis. The private Training section allows all others Skydiving activities.The user expressly agrees that use of Tracking Derby Web Services is at the user's sole risk. Any skydiver using Tracking Derby Web Services to analyse his flight, should inform Drop Zone’s staff, pilot and manager as well as other skydivers. He should follow local spotting procedures for his own and other airspace user safety. To operate Tracking Derby Web Services you need to use a GPS that records position every second. Tracking Derby is compatible with Garmin’s GPS Serial and Gps files in GPX format. The freeware "Tracking Derby Agent" is needed to collect data from your GPS unit. Tracking Derby Web Services only recognizes logs that have been extracted with the Tracking Derby Agent. All logs are encrypted, and can only be viewed on the Tracking Derby Web Site. The accuracy of scores and graphs depends on the GPS recorder used. Tracking Derby Web Services can not correct GPS data accuracy after the fact. GPS recorders with barometric capsule are not recommanded for skydiving use. Access to Tracking Derby Web Services is subject to change or to be cut for any kind of reason. The Tracking Derby Crew reserves the right to terminate any account upon the discovery that information provided or posted are not complete, not accurate or corrupted and for any use of the Tracking Derby web services not respecting those termes and conditions. Privacy PolicyTo use this website, a user must first complete the registration form and open a Tracking Derby account. During registration a user is required to provide contact information (such as name and email address). Tracking Derby Crew uses this information to contact the user about tracking Derby Web Services for which the user has expressed interest. The Tracking Derby crew won't share Email address with any other organisation.The Tracking Derby Web Site shows users profile. Information shown to the public include: First name, last name, pictures, height, weight, years in the sport, home DZ, scores, locations and date of performances, free falls runs and canopy ride printables graphs, equipments, models, sizes of suits and canopies. Users agree to provide true, accurate and complete information as prompted by the registration form, and maintain and update it over time. Your Email address should stay valid to receive account password, information and updates. Spam mail filter user, please add the following address to your "Safe List" or "White List" account@trackingderby.com. Check your Junk Mail, Spam or Bulk Mail Folder. If you choose to receive the Tracking Derby newsletter and promotional email from Tracking Derby Partners during registration, we collect your name and email address. Your email address will be used to send you newsletter with updates and news about Tracking Derby. You may remove your name from our email list by modifying your user profile at any time. Users that want to retire from Tracking Derby web services need to contact Tracking Derby crew. I agree that if my image appears on any film, videotape, web site, press release or other king of publication taken around the use of the Tracking Derby and his Web Services, I am willing to allow Tracking Derby Crew to use it for publicity, informational, or entertainment purposes at no charge.
